    Dublin Airport Boarding Zone

    Airport

Boomer supplied door sets to McAvoy Offsite for their factory-built modules used in the construction of the South Gates, a new €22 million passenger boarding facility which has been developed to meet the huge growth in passenger numbers at Dublin Airport. It was designed to be used mainly by Aer Lingus for flights to the UK and continental Europe. It provides seven boarding gates to serve nine aircraft stands and can accommodate around 1,000 passengers at a time and up to 8,000 people a day.

    Door Set Specification

Boomer supplied high specification door sets to meet the stringent fire requirements within the passenger facility. A combination of paint finish, laminates and stainless steel barrier sheeting were chosen to provide long life and resist impact from baggage trollies and wheeled cases.
